Finally decided to attempt making bread today and though it’s not perfect I’m super pleased with it! It’s a rye bread made with stout giving it a really delicious flavour. The crust could be a little crispier but the middle is super soft and fluffy. You can see it took my score marks under advisement but decided to do its own thing, I think a result of the dough not being a uniform ball, maybe it needed to be kneaded for longer at the start to get a bit more elasticity? Either way I enjoyed making this (and even more so eating it) and I’m already looking forward to my next attempt! submitted by /u/Wontrah_ |
